Four-year-old Cai Yujie was diagnosed heart disease when he had a health check in the school early this year. Local physician highly suggested his parents to take him to a better hospital for further treatment. He was hospitalized in Oct and diagnosed as Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. The first operation has been operated immediately due to the severe condition. The second operation might be needed depending on the recovery.
四岁的蔡雨杰在学校的一次体检上被诊断出患有心脏病。当地的医生建议他的父母马上把他送到更好的医院抓紧治疗。10月，他入住了广东中山大学附属第一医院。他被诊断出患有法乐氏四联症。由于病情严重，第一手术马上进行了实施。医生会根据后续的恢复情况考虑是否进行第二次手术。
Cai Yujie’s parents are from Jiangxi Provence. Cai Yujie was born when his mother was 42. He has one 7-year-old sister. His father is a rice farmer as the sole source with low income supporting the whole family. His mother was a housewife taking care of these two young children. Their grandparents all passed away. His parents’ siblings are old and sick. Only one nephew is able to help them, borrowing them some money to pay for the surgery. They’re also applying for low-income family subsidy from the government. The huge financial burden from the heart operation was not able to be solved by themselves.
蔡雨杰的父母来自江西省。母亲生他的时候已经42岁。他还有一个7岁的姐姐。他父亲是一名米农，收入微薄，家里的主要经济来源。他的祖父母都已经去世。他父母的兄弟姐妹都年龄较大，并且患有疾病。全靠他们的一名侄子借了大部分的钱来支付高昂的手术费用。目前他们也在申请政府低保补助。手术费用的重担让他们举步维艰。
