Zhou Junxuan was diagnosed with a heart problem requiring surgery after his birth in Shaoguan, Guangdong. He was incubated and put in intensive care for 9 days before he was transferred to Guangzhou for surgery.

Zhou Junxuan is the first child of the family. His father works at construction sites and his income is unstable, his mother stays at home. At the moment the family have no insurance for Zhou Junxuan, but hopefully they will be able to claim insurance in the near future.

Zhou Junxuan’s family have managed to borrow part of the cost of the surgery from relatives and friends, but not enough to cover all the expenses.
